This is a traditionally wine linked to social occasions, friendship, simplicity of daily life lived with happiness. Balance and smoothness are its distinctive features and explain the nature of daily and easydrinking wine. Perfect when the menu is made up of typical Piedmontese dishes such as raw meat, vitello tonnato (veal with tuna sauce), or the typical local home-made pasta: agnolotti al plin.

Grape variety: 100% Dolcetto.
Area of production: Langhe.
Vinification: Crushing and destemming; fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C. Maceration on the skins for 8 days, with daily pumping of the must over the cap.
Refining: Matured in stainless steel.
Cellar life: 2 years.
Dolcetto d’Alba, typical wine of the Langhe tradition, perfectly pairs with the typical dishes from Piedmontese kitchen, like the “vitello tonnato”. It goes also along with boiled meat and home-made pasta, such as the classical tajarin with butter and sage.
It is a native vine of lower Piedmont, which takes the name from the sweetness of its fruit, but turns into a dry wine, usually fresh and easy to drink.
